Minecraft adalah game Membangun Sandbox,Di Buat oleh Markus "Notch" Persson dan Mojang, dirilis pada 17 Mei 2009 dengan Versi Beta pada tanggal 20 Desember 2010. Rilis resmi untuk IOS dan Android saat ini dalam pembangunan yang akan dirilis akhir tahun 2011 bersama dengan versi lengkap dari permainan; rilis Android sementara eksklusif untuk Play Xperia tetapi sekarang tersedia untuk seluruh pasar Android.

Game ini Fokus dengan Kreativitas dan bangunan, Memperbolehkan Pemain membangun Gedung, Permainan ini sedang dalam pengembangan Beta dan versi hanya terus diperbaharui dari permainan. Minecraft dikembangkan selama sekitar seminggu sebelum dirilis ke publik pada 17 Mei 2009,Telah terus-menerus diperbarui dan dipatch sejak itu, dan sementara itu masih dalam rilis alpha, maka mengumpulkan beberapa ratus ribu penjualan dan menerima pemberitahuan kritis dan pujian dari banyak tinjauan. Ini melewati satu juta unit yang terjual pada tanggal 12 Januari 2011, kurang dari sebulan setelah mencapai Beta. Dengan 5 Agustus 2011, permainan telah menjual 3.000.000 unit.

Game ini juga bisa multiplayer loh alias online :) dan juga bisa di beri mods.

Game ini hanya membangun gedung,Mencari Sumber daya alam dan Bertahan hidup,Di malam hari monster keluar,Di siang hari pemain harus mencari Sesuatu untuk betahan hidup,jadi game ini tidak bisa di menangkan
